About Me
Who I Am
I'm currently a 17 year old grade 12 student in British Columbia. I moved to Canada from the United Kingdom at the age of 12, and was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 14.
Why I Am Doing This
I have created this website as a part of my Grade 12 Capstone project, which is a mandatory component for graduation in BC.
What This Means To Me
I chose this project for 2 main reasons. Firstly I wanted to be able to help people with ADHD, as I have experienced first hand how crippling the effects of it can be. Secondly I wanted to do more research into ADHD so I could better understand myself and how my brain works, and potentially support my future peers or children with ADHD.
My Mentor
Throughout this project I have consulted a teacher from my school by the name of Mr. Cody Harris. He has inspired me with his ability to manage his ADHD, whilst maintaining a professional and informative persona despite not using any medication.
